felyx

Beat the streets

felyx is a successful scale-up, offering shared electric scooters as a new and disrupting urban mobility concept.

Rebranding felyx app

After analysing the whole app's structure on Android and iOS, I collected similarities and inconsistencies across the products.

I proposed few and impactful updates to the app that could restyle felyx to a modern new look, cohesive and also allowing the apps and the company's expansion plans.

Step by step

In order to apply the new brand requirements, I redesigned screen by screen, prioritising fixes on big known issues, suggesting experiments and designing for new features.

Finding gaps

The Registration process was an unpleasant moment for the first-time user. When restricted by many system or legal requirements, or uncertainties about next steps, some felyx customers reported issues to the Support center; others were with their Accounts incomplete for many days, some would never return because of the wrong first impression.

After some studies, we decided to review mandatory information, optimize form-filling, implement keyboard auto-suggestions, and introduce chapters to divide and explain each necessary step.

As a result, the new user spends less time creating an account and validating documents, getting ready to ride in few minutes.

Selecting the best option

When the user is looking for a felyx nearby, the vehicle detail panel shows necessary information that gives an overview and helps the user decide the options to reserve and ride.

The content was available but sometimes overlapping or misplaced; I proposed rearranging the information and highlighting what is crucial for making a good and fast decision.
